Soave
The
Italian town of Soave is probably less known than the wine Soave.
Wine-growing in that area dates back to ancient times. While one widely
accepted explanation for the region’s name is that it was
taken from the German people „Suevians“, legend has
it that it was Dante who gave Soave its name.
